Becoming a Speaker 

Package #4

This package is for the person who wants to become a speaker and to achieve the knowledge, confidence, and clarity to be successful in the Professional Speaking Industry.  This package will take six-months to complete the process.

Objectives:

  • To understand the depth and breadth of the speaking industry and examine the tools needed to succeed.
  • To capitalize on your many successes and to leverage your personal experiences, education, and expertise.
  • To guide and assist you in the design process to create a powerful and inspirational presentation/keynote.
  • To determine your target audience. 
  • To clarify your brand promise.
  • To create a strategic marketing plan to share your message.
  • To leave a lasting legacy to the world.

Coaching Process

Phase One – Understanding the Industry

  • Examine different aspects of the industry:  National Speakers Association, the corporate audience, the youth audience, professional associations, and non-profits to determine your focus.
  • Identify and guide the development of all necessary materials, including website, biographies, video demo, client list, testimonials, and social media.

Phase Two – Crafting the Message

  • Adult Learning Principles
  • Design formula
  • Openings and Closings
  • Content Points
  • Stories / Signature Story
  • Humor
  • Action Ideas

Phase Three – Implementation and Accountability

  • Marketing strategy
  • Additional tools – Webinars, Newsletter, Book, AI

This entire process will take approximately six months.  However, the time involved will depend on the amount of work you are able and willing to invest in the process.

This agreement will include the following:  

  • Reasonable telephone and e-mail access to Barbara as needed. 
  • One-hour scheduled call per week for the first six weeks and every two weeks thereafter (phone or Zoom) based on mutual schedules. 
  • Evaluation of existing work (presentations, videos, writing) with feedback during our phone sessions.
  • Extensive guidance in presentation design, and the continual sharing of resources and creative ideas.  

If you find you need additional support and feedback, I am available on an hourly basis for $300.

Investment – $20,000

Payment Options

Please plan to pay a 50% retainer when you select your package, 25% half way through the package and 25% at completion. I accept checks payable to Barbara Glanz Communications of Florida, LLC.

Coaching Questions – Pre-work 

These questions are designed to get to know YOU, your expertise and your needs.

Please do not be concerned if you have trouble answering any of these questions. No answers are ever in concrete!  In our time together we will probably revise, refocus and re-clarify these answers as we discover more about your skills, passion, and expertise.  These questions are a starting point.  You may not even have answers to these questions right now, so we can explore them together if not.

10.  List several events or accomplishments that have been huge positives in your life.

11. List several events or aspects of your life that have been the most negative or difficult in your life.
