Steve Wroten and I hesitated for just a few hours that Tuesday to determine if we should continue with our conference in light of the tragedy that so greatly impacted our nation. We then became determined more than ever to go forward and not let terrorists defeat us in our pursuit of quality and excellence. Each person who came made a brave decision to attend. They could have stayed home and for good reason. To see so many people attend was heartwarming. Your quick modification of the keynote address to consider the tragic events started us off just right with encouragement and ideas for regenerating others and ourselves during this sad time.
