ARTICLES

Barbara's article, "Keeping Your Customers Coming Back," was published in the July 13, 2006, edition of The Straits Times CATS Recruit,the most prominent  business publication in Singapore.  She emphasizes that customer loyalty is created by delivering quality core service that meets the customer's expectations and customer service that exceeds their expectations by providing positive memories for clients and co-workers.

Bud Bilanich, the Common Sense Guy, at www.commonsenseguy.com, recently reviewed Barbara's new book, 180 Ways to Spread Contagious Enthusiasm, in his article, "Creating an Engaged Workforce."  Bud describes this book as a "must read for anyone who is interested in creating an engaged, motivated workforce."


ON THE WEB

Kansas State University Research & Extension,  "The Tuesday Letter," Vol. 12, No. 34, July 4, 2006, featured the article, "Your Attitude is Your Choice!" which suggests that we not only "imagine arriving to work on Monday morning to find all our co-workers happily working, but to share our enthusiasm and be a role model."  The author of the article, Dr. David Petritz of Purdue University, recommends adding a copy of The Simple Truths of Service, co-authored by Barbara Glanz and Ken Blanchard, to your personal library.


ACCOLADES

Once again, Barbara was selected to conduct a concurrent session at the National Speakers Association convention in Orlando, FL.  This year's presentation was "CARE Packages for the Home - Dozens of Ways to Regenerate Spirit Where You Live."   Barbara shared dozens of no-cost ideas to regenerate spirit in the home to help families make their homes more caring, creative and joyful places to live.
