Barbara returned to Singapore this month where she spoke to supervisors for CISCO Security PTE LTD. about employee retention and motivation.
While in Singapore, Barbara was interviewed on Prime Time Morning by Steven Chia and Suzanne Jung during their "Off The Shelf" segment. Barbara was asked questions about her books, Handle With Care, Simple Truths, and Balancing Acts. Prime Time Morning is produced by Mediacorp, Singapore's largest broadcaster.
At 938 Live, the business radio station of Singapore, Barbara recorded 25 segments called "Positive Business Minutes." They will be aired four times a day for the entire month of January.

In the November 2005 newsletter, Professional Apartment Management, an article quoting Barbara was published in the Do's and Don'ts section. "Open Staff Meetings with Good News to Boost Employee Morale" featured Barbara's suggestion from her book, Care Packages for the Workplace: Dozens of Little Things You Can Do to Regenerate Spirit at Work. The newsletter is published by Vendome Group, LLC and reiterates how to start staff meetings with good news, which should put attendees at ease and encourage them to share their own good news.
Barbara was also mentioned in The Fort Wayne News-Sentinel on Monday, November 21, 2005. The article "Take 8 This Holiday Season" was written by Jeff Herring of Knight Ridder Newspapers.
