When we bless others, we free the goodness in them and in ourselves. - Rachel Naomi Remen -

Thank you so much! Your presentation at the National Fraternal Congress annual Meeting was the perfect finishing touch and I'm so glad you were able to spend some time with us. People in the audience were taking notes frantically, and our President Vera Wilt has already used you idea of starting a staff meeting with a "good news" session. You're terrific! I truly appreciate everything you did to make this such a successful meeting.

Thank you for being our speaker on Administrative Professionals Day at Oklahoma State University. You are still being talked about on this campus.

Your message, "Regenerating Spirit in the Workplace," has touched many lives and is spreading across this campus with enthusiasm! Your evaluations were the highest we have ever received in the 15 years I have been in training. YOU BROKE A RECORD!

Thank you so much for the wonderful day you created for us on the second. I have heard nothing but positives from the managers and staff who attended. Here's a sampling from some of the evaluations:

" Best inservice I've attended in 20 years of work."
" The timing couldn't have been better. It opened up our minds and hearts."
" Excellent program. Barbara should be on our schedule annually. there was so much I could bring into my life and the workplace."
" Excellent workshop--one of the best I've attended (and that's a lot!)"

Please, please, please, no matter how hard your days, do not underestimate the need for the work that you do. Thank you for your "Care Package" to us.

I can't thank you enough for speaking at the 1999 Chick-fil-A Unit Marketing Director Conference. You were such a special part of this event, and I am certain you arelargely responsible for the conference being the best rated ever! You inspired and motivated our Unit Marketing Directors. Your message was truly a blessing to all that heard you both from a professional and personal development standpoint.

Wow! What an outstanding performance at the 1999 Ohio Human Resource State Conference. The participants absolutely loved the job you did. You received a rating of "10" from 97% of the people. You made me a hero!

Many speakers deliver a very powerful message but their presentation skills are weak. Others really entertain but the message is missing. You are one of the few speakers I have ever heard that can present with the best as well as deliver a message. You get a "10" from me.

A program is successful when you can take away one new idea and apply it at work. You gave us many ideas that we could apply immediately and I have.

Thank you so much for coming to Salt Lake City and celebrating National Nurses's Day and National Hospital Week with us. More importantly, thank you for being so flexible with your schedule and agreeing to offer your presentation "Regenerating Spirit in the Workplace" at all hours of the day or night to accommodate our organization's 24/7 operation. This was not only a performance over and above the call of duty; it was thoughtful, generous, and most kind! As you know by the number of emails that your have received from our employees since your visit, your presentation was extremely well received and very much appreciated. Our employees were truly inspired by your presentation, your positive attitude, and your enthusiasm for life! I think I can comfortably say you were a smash hit!

Barbara, you deliver a very powerful message, stimulating both one's mind and one's heart. Our employees not only learned from the experience, they walked away with new ideas and simple methods for regenerating spirit in the workplace and at home. You left them energized and motivated, and ready to take on the world.

Thanks so much for participating in our three day leadership development workshop in Houston. I believe the program was an unqualified success. The feedback from the managers who participated has been very positive. I believe we were able to achieve our goals of imporving the spirit of our managers and giving them tools to take the message back to their employees and customers.

The sincerity and passion you bring to the topic of recultivating the human elements of our business helped win over a tough audience. We have a lot of technically oriented managers who approached these sessions with quite a bit of skepticism.
I'd also like to thank you personally for the responsiveness and flexibility you demonstrated as we established the agenda for the meeting. You're a breath of resh air in a business that can take itself a little too seriously sometimes. at work. You gave us many ideas that we could apply immediately and I have.

Here's a no-surprise! Your presentation at our Marketing Seminar was the best part of the meeting, according to the evaluation forms we've received. Everyone loved your talk and--as you could see--responded to your spirited delivery. You sent them home happy, smarter, and energized. Who could ask for more from a featured speaker? Thanks for a great job.

Your presentation, "Regenerating Spirit in the Workplace," at Life Care's annual management meeting in Seattle last month was truly outstanding! Thank you for helping us focus on a vital dimension of leadership ‹ that of recognizing and honoring people who care for our residents around the clock each day of the year. I believe wholeheartedly in the servant leadership and human relations principles you advocated in such an interesting and informative manner. Life Care Centers of America will become an even better company if each executive director and vice president who heard your presentation will remember and practice those principles consistently and cheerfully.

The following comment from an associate on the meeting's evaluation form under "the part of the meeting I liked best" typifies the response of the entire group who heard you: "Barbara Glanz was terrific. Invite her again!" I'm confident that suggestion will be taken seriously by future meeting planners.

President

On behalf of the SOS Synolic Quality Systems, Ltd. Company, I would like to warmly congratulate you and thank you for your recent splendid appearances in Thessaloniki, Iraklion (Crete), and finally, your "piece de resistance", Athens.

As one of the organizers of these events, I was approached by numerous busninessmen and Executives immediately after your presentation and later by phone. The all expressed their enthusiasm for the INSTANT RAPPORT and the positive atmosphere you created with all three audiences. They felt as if they had known you for years, and that despite the fact that some of them relied on simultaneous translation to receive your message. But even if they missed a small verbal detail, they all got your stirring and motivational messages through your vibrant body language which communicated a spirit of refreshing optimism and high expectations. Because you reviewed and summarized key points at the right intervals, participants left the lecture hall not only inspired and motivated, but also armed with specific ideas as to what they needed to do next when back at work.

I am very pleased to inform you that we have had numerous requests for "more Barbara" and, provided you have the time, we anticipate that we will invite you again and again to spread your contagious enthuisiasm to more audiences in Greece and Cyprus. Invite her again!" I'm confident that suggestion will be taken seriously by future meeting planners.

We invited Barbara Glanz to speak at our October conference "Positive Perspectives--Little Things Mean a Lot." In just one day, Barbara helped our people begin to realize that they can manage the everyday moments of truth and that they can each make a positive difference in their workplace for both their customers and co-workers. We've seen all sorts of little changes.

Barbara Glanz is overflowing with enthusiasm about her message. she uses humor, stories, and activities to drive the message home and gives a truckload of practical, everyday ways and ideas for implementation. I think the two main resons Barbara's message is heard by listeners are that everything is applicable to family life as well as work life and she gives people a renewed sense of hope.

Changes are already being made--many of our meetings now begin with three minutes of good news! Thank you for agreeing to work with David Roth in bringing energy, information, humor, music, and new ideas to our leadership team to help them continue the journey of regenerating spirit here at SOLARIS.
People were inspired by your genuiine enthusiasm and have committed to reading the book given to them as part of the program. Now comes the fun part for me--encouraging them to follow-through on the ideas we generated during the brainstorm session.

Now that our 1999 National Conference is behind us, I must express my gratitude for your help in making the event such a wonderful experience for so many of our Consultants. Your message of a personal, human touch in connection with leadership will have a lasting effect. Your ideas on how to CARE for others and create spirit in the cluster will benefit the Directors of The Pampered Chef. Thank you so much for helping The Pampered Chef create such a unique and memorable event for so many; we hope the encounter was equally rewarding for you. It was truly a pleasure working together.
