Your quick modification of the keynote address to consider the tragic events started us off just right with encouragement and ideas for regenerating others and ourselves during this sad time. made everyone present feel valued. Our only regret was that you were only
able to be with us one day. On behalf of the Washington Public Employers Labor Relations Association, I'd like to thank you for delivering an excellent keynote at our fall conference in Ocean Shores. What a positive impact you made with your presentation! It was the perfect blend of practicality and inspiration for human resource managers and set just the right tome for the sessions to follow. I received nothing but outstanding comments from the conference participants. I've been a meeting planner for over 20 years and recogniace your talent in getting a message across to your audience. I would heartily recommend you to others. Well, we are all back in the office and everyone is talking about out off-site and the wonderful speaker we had! This is the third year for our three Travel Centers to do an off-site, and this is the one my staff is raving about! You are an inspiration to all of us. I know that my staff walked away from your session with many thoughts and ideas about how to work better with each other and with our clients. The standing ovation you received was heartfelt and a genuine reflection of what transpired. Barbara's outstanding speaking skills allow her to bring us all back to the "human" side of business. She did not talk about theories and numbers, but rather the simple things we can do to bring fun back to our work. One of the attendees at our seminar words within our local community college. After the seminar, he told me that if Barbara did a presentation to all of the teachers at his organization, they would never have to worry about recruiting students again! He left the seminar, as did I, with incredible confidence that doing just some of the things that Barbara recommends will make all of us better leaders in our organizations, which, in turn, will make our employees (and students) want to be part of our team. Barbara's personal warmth and ability to share her enthusiasm are true gifts and she is definitely the best speaker I have ever heard.
