Creativity may express itself in one’s dealings with children, in making love, in carrying on a business, in formulating physical theory, in painting a picture. - Jerome Bruner -

All I can say is WOW! When the STOP Violence Coalition and the Corporate Volunteer Council of Greater Kansas City decided to declare the first annual "Corporate Kindness Day," I knew that you would be the perfect speaker to bring an inspiring, yet very practical message to the corporate community. Everyone who heard you speak came away with fresh, creative, energizing ideas to nudge the workplace into the business of kindness.

I am delighted to provide you with my endorsement. The training seminar you conducted for our department staff on Customer Relationships and Personal Job Satisfaction was prepared and presented in a professionally superior manner. You successfully communicated with a diverse group and the feedback has been positive. Also, I have been reading some of your books and find them very beneficial. I can wholeheartedly recommend you to other business leaders who are seeking professional and personal development. Your message and level of sincere caring are your strongest assets. I am pleased to know you and count you among my friends.

Angels

Barbara A. Glanz, CSP

I was speaking two weeks ago at the Safety Harbor Spa and Resort in Safety Harbor, Florida, (note the significance of the name…..) and as a gift, the client gave me a massage and facial the night before. These last months have been a very hectic time for me, still without an assistant, and I had been working until the early morning hours every night when I wasn’t on the road, so this was a precious time of renewing and refilling my spirit!

I had had the massage at 4:00, then a light dinner at their lovely restaurant, and at 7:00 pm I was scheduled for a Facial. About half way through, when my eyes were covered, I was feeling so very relaxed and close to God that I began praying and thanking Him for all the beautiful people who have blessed my life.

Near the end of a wonderful experience while I was still lying with my eyes covered, the technician, Michelle, very hesitantly said to me, “I am not sure if I should ask you this or not, but do you believe in angels or spiritual things?”
I answered, “Oh, my, YES, I do!”

She then told me that there was a light beside me that had not worked for three years. She said they had had electricians there numerous times over the years, and no one was able to find out what was wrong with it.

Incredulously, she said that about half way through my treatment, that light came on – for the very first time in three years!

We were both in awe (and a bit teary) and immediately hugged one another because we knew we had experienced something beyond our understanding.

But then the most amazing thing of all happened……, when I walked out of that room to get dressed, THE LIGHT WENT OUT!

The next day Michelle came down to find me after I had finished speaking in the afternoon. She said various staff members had come in all day long and NO ONE could get that light to come back on again.

I feel sure that God and His angels were in that room with me that night. Even though these past few months have been some of the loneliest and most difficult times of my whole life, my light CAN still shine. All I need to do is to focus on my blessings!
